I love flat sandals, but lately I have been looking for a sandal that is better for my feet. All these years of wearing flats is finally catching up with me. Some days my feet hurt so bad that I can only wear my tennis shoes. I hate my feet being hot, and I really love sandals! And, so began the search for the perfect sandal...

1. It needed to be a cute sandal that could be dressed up or down.
2. It needed to have arch support and be cushioned.
The problem was that not many sandals have both of the things I was looking for. Either they were made for comfort or they were made for style, but not for both. I had almost given up, until I found these Chaco Rowan Sandals. They are super cute, they are cushioned and they have arch support. I couldn't believe this was real! I had to buy them and see if it was too good to be true.
Since I ordered them online I was a little worried about how they would fit and how they would look. My first impression when I took them out of the box was that they looked better in person than online. Win for criteria # 1! I was super excited to get them on my feet! The fit was perfect and I was instantly smitten! They are so comfy, my arches are supported and they look sooo cute! I still can’t even believe it’s real.
I hopped on the treadmill for a quick sprint to see if they held up. Now, these are not made for running, so I don't suggest doing that, but my feet felt fine afterward. Just as if I were wearing my tennis shoes. I can definitely see these being comfortable walking around in all day. They also have a nice grip on the bottom, unlike my other flats which have smooth bottoms.
I hate wearing shoes around the house but I don’t want to take these off! It’s like I’m barefoot, only better. The way they designed the straps keeps the bottom of the sandal secure to your feet, without flopping around! It feels more stable than regular flat sandals.
The only 2 cons that I have so far are:
1. The part that goes between your toes feels a little stiff. It doesn't bother me at all because my toes are used to it, I guess. But, it's something to consider if it may bother you. I am thinking that it may soften up over time.
2. This also isn't a huge deal, but it is something that I noticed. There were some air bubbles under the footbed, before I even wore them. (Like if you were to put a sticker down and got an air bubble under it. Picture that in just a small area.) It hasn't gotten worse, so it's probably fine. And, my foot is on top of it, so it's not like anyone will see it anyway. Their website does say that all of their products "are warranted to be free from defects or workmanship for the entire life of the product." So, if it causes a problem then I feel like they will be willing to take care of it.
Now, I just can’t wait until it warms up outside so I can wear them everyday! I am definitely considering getting rid of all my other sandals for these beauties! Chaco's also has some other sandals that I've got my eye on!
