After a long day in Forest Park, walking around the Zoo, checking out the museums, or visiting the Science Center nearby, I always have to stop at Seamus McDaniels! Located in the historic Dogtown district. They are known for their burgers, but they have a lot to choose from. Check out their menu here.
If you are into sushi you have to check out BLK Mkt Eats. They have huge sushi burritos!
Blues City Deli has the best sandwiches! They also have live music on different nights of the week. Check out their website to see the dates and times for that. I will warn you though, if you are not into crowded places then you probably don't want to go here. Every time we have been there it's been packed! But, if you don't mind the crowd you should definitely stop by!
Looking for original St. Louis Style Pizza? Imo's Pizza is where you want to go. There are different locations, so check out their website to find the one closest to you.
Located on the Hill. The historic Italian neighborhood of St. Louis is Cunetto House of Pasta. While there are many great Italian restaurants on the Hill, Cunetto's is my favorite. Be advised though, it's so good that people line up early to get in for dinner, since they do not take dinner reservations. It is definitely worth the wait though!
The Loop has lots of things to do and places to eat, but my two favorites there are Fitz's Root Beer and Blueberry Hill. Blueberry Hill also has live music and shows, check out their website to see what is coming up.
If you are looking for something light to eat, or if you just love tea like I do then you should stop by The London Tea Room. I really love their tea! I have been to other places that call themselves a tea room, but they pale in comparison to The London Tea Room.
Last on my list, but surely not least is Gulf Shores Restaurant and Grill. Specializing in Cajun and Seafood. What if you like Cajun but no one else with you does? No worries! They have great food for even the pickiest eaters of the family. Burgers and chicken strips, anyone?
I can't end this post about food without talking about dessert!
Two of the best places to get dessert are Ted Drewes Frozen Custard a St. Louis tradition and my personal favorite! And, Ices Plain and Fancy, ice-cream churned with nitrogen.
Have you eaten at any of these places? Which is your favorite? Is there a place you love that isn't mentioned here? I'd love to hear from you! Let me know in the comments below!
